AWT Technical Committees

The next Technical Committee Leaders Workshop is scheduled for March 8-9, 2022 in an online format.

The members of the Technical Committees are company representatives and personal AWT members. They initiate and accompany AWT's research projects, which are carried out at the Leibniz-Institute for Materials Engineering - IWT, Bremen, AWT's own research institute. An average of 9 research projects are launched each year in this way, which identify innovative potential in the fields of heat treatment and materials engineering and translate solutions into industrial practice.

In addition, technical committees publish their own work instructions, practical tips and information on standardization regulations. Some technical committees also share their expertise as part of the AWT seminars. They promote the networking and further development of their members and thus offer a decisive knowledge advantage.
